Rolls of Cotton fabric reference scrolls, stars symbolise cosmic navigation, and zigzag motifs represent water in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. The star takes the form of a star jasmine (false jasmine) encountered by Aminah on her morning walks to the Nadine Mos store.
